Cubbies

Sam had his last night of Awana for the year last night. Here he is with his group getting awards and then posing with his friend Taite. It was hard to get a good picture. And don't mind that he's the only kid whose mother did not sew on any of his patches! I found out last night by many people that I could have ironed them on. Why did it take me the whole year to find that out? Oh, well. He still got his award.
Hannah wanted her picture taken too this morning when she was trying to do a puzzle.

Fun at the Farm

Dan's doing some work over at Helen's today so I took the kids over to play and they did NOT want to come home. Helen gave them a ride on the ranger and Hannah loved the tractor. It was such a nice day out I didn't want to come home either but by 1:30 it was melt down for Hannah. Sam and Helen, he thought he was going to drive.

Hannah on the Allis Chalmers...she threw a fit when Dan had to get her down and she tried desperately to get up the high steps herself. She almost made it to until I carried her away kicking and screaming.

Little Miss Helper

Someone couldn't bear the thought of Daddy going out to shovel without her. (Not sure why she's got my hat and mittens on)

Buddies

I don't know if I ever put these on here, but I love these two pictures. These pictures are from last month. Sam and Olivia in their "tent" as they call it and Hannah and Paige jumping in the crib. I guess Hannah got a little excited. I need to update my pictures of Philip. By the way Mary, Hannah now says Philip, "Chi-Chi" and Mary. She even sang "chi chi, chi chi". Please, does he have to be everyone's favorite? :) And also, is anyone else snowed in today or is it just Becker? We're not going to the cabin this weekend. It's kind of nice to have some down time. I should clean in that case but I think I'll read instead. Dan told me I just cleaned so chill out. Whatever. Maybe I'll clean tomorrow. Does anyone know that Rhianna song Please don't stop the music or whatever its called? My kids had never heard it on the radio, but it's their favorite. Mary taught it to them and it's guaranteed to get them singing and dancing. I had taped American Idol the other night when they all sang that song and hadn't deleted it yet. Last night Hannah was crying (more like throwing a fit) because she couldn't have chocolate (a usual occurance) and after not being able to calm her down I had a light bulb moment and turned on the show from the other night. That song was right at the beginning and the second it started that girl turned off the tears like they were on a switch and immediately started dancing. I think I'll keep that episode.

Sorry Grams, I'm late

Sorry I didn't post yesterday Grandma, you asked for good news and all I had was Hannah's ear infection. Didn't think that was what you were looking for! But here's a picture for you I had on my desktop. We had lunch with Jeannie recently, she had gone on vacation and that's why Hannah looks so pasty next to her! The kids love to go see her (they love all their aunts and great-aunts) but this day they got to see where she works and Sam thought that was pretty cool. Nothing's new around here. Jen, my mom and I took the kids to the McDonalds playland in St. Cloud after Sam got out of Bible Study today. Tonight I have church so Dan will be home with the kids. I'll have to tape American Idol. I told Dan last night I'm already sad the end is near. That's my favorite show. Any other faithful watchers? (Brooke's my favorite.) We're planning to go to the cabin this weekend but is sounds like that area's going to get a bit of snow. Dan and I are going to the Newsboys concert tomorrow night so the kids are going to stay overnight at my moms. Oh, and Hannah's doing much better. Hope you all have a good night.
