Happy Easter

We went to my aunt Julie's in South Dakota for Easter. Julie directed her church's Easter production and did very well! We went on Saturday with my mom and dad and Grandma and Grandpa. We had a really good time and ate really good food! Sam was sick last night and today, but he still loved it. He had been developing a cold and both kids (in seperate hotel rooms...Sam had to sleep with Grandma and Grandpa of course) were up around 11-11:30 until 3 am! I don't know what was wrong with Hannah, just cried all night...not like her. She's my good sleeper. Sam got sick at Julie's and had a 102.9 temp. He slept on the way home so that helped. They were excited to come home and get their Easter baskets (as if all the spoiling from Grandma, Great Grandma and Julie wasn't enough!). Sam feels good enough to play with his trains, but really, what could keep him from that? Here are some pictures from Julie's house and at home with their Easter baskets. Hope you all had a great Easter!

I'm surprised Hannah posed with the bunny I got her, all she cared about was the chocolate!
Sam got his "Henry" train he's been asking for.

Hannah aka Miss Roses

This is Hannah wearing Grandpa's boots at the cabin. She knows when she's cute and she loves to get a laugh out of someone...and laugh with you. Hannah loves to be a part of whatever's around her. If she's with Sam, she wants to play trains. If she's with mom, she wants to carry a purse and put make up on. If she's with Dad, she wants to sit in his lap and watch racing on t.v. (which I think is where she's most content). She is very much a girl, however. When Sam's not home she'll play with her dolls and push them around in stroller. She like to spin in circles and dance when she hears music. If the t.v. is on in a room and there's music playing, she'll run in that room just so she can dance. She doesn't have many words but she understands you very well. I told her Grandma was coming over this morning to watch her and she started clapping, giggling and spinning in circles. Oh, yeah, she loves her m&m's. While I'm writing this she just brought me the candy jar full of them, and has to sit on my lap. She's definitely my child.

Birthday Party

Sam turned 4 on Wednesday and we had our families over today for brunch. He thought he was turning 5 today since he turned 4 at his "last" birthday. We took him to Chuck E. Cheese on Wednesday with Woody, Jen and the girls. Below are pictures of both.

Nothing new really

I've been told I don't post on here enough, but I guess I just don't have much to add! My kids still look the same from the last time I added pictures and unless you want me to document lunch, bath time, Sam playing with his trains etc. I don't have much to fill you in on! Sorry. I guess we're pretty routine over here. Sam goes to ECFE, Cubbies and BSF (bible study fellowship). BSF is his favorite. Hannah just likes to copy Sam and follow people around the house. I just got my hair cut really short (really short to me). I haven't had it this short since I was 2. Mary did a good job and gave me some highlights too. She just got a job at Simonson's in Elk River if anyone is looking for a place to go, I highly recommend her! Dan's working hard and always helpful with the kids. They love when he's here. Tonight Dan and I are going to the Wild game. My mom got us tickets for Christmas. I guess that's about it. Hope you all (maybe only 3 of you! :) have a good day!
