Maybe not. Sorry I have not been good about updating. Not too much new here and I haven't taken any new pictures, I'm terrible about that. But I DID take the kids to David last week or so to get their pictures taken. I had a really hard time picking which ones as usual. You watch your kids squirm, not cooperate, not smile for the camera and then you look at the proofs and think "How did he get so many good pictures?" I wish I could just leave the video camera on the kids all day. There interaction with each other is quite humurous at times and sweet. Sam is so good to Hannah. Right now he just tried to hug her and she pushed him away. I try to tell him she just doesn't like to be hugged all the time, but that doesn't stop his efforts. She does adore him. I was in the living room reading this morning and I hear Hannah wake up and come to the stairs. She yells up "BOY!" (short for Sammy Boy I'm guessing) and he goes running from my lap and they get down to business playing. They ask for each other right when they wake up (just before asking for Dan) or maybe he asks and she demands. Sam came out to the living room at 6:00 this morning and the first words out of him mouth are "can I go wake up Hannah". Every morning he asks this. Just a little bit ago she was knocking on the window yelling "Hi Gordon" and he says "Hannah that's enough you're hurting my ears" He came to tell me about it and I missed the first part of what he said so I said "what?" He said, "Nevermind. It's old now." If she doesn't come him to him when he calls her name I'll hear very sternly "Hannah, Hannah come her. Hannah, 1...2...Hannah do you want a spanking?" But right now they're having fun (Sam just said, Hannah, isn't this fun?) Sam told me his favorite thing about Hannah was her attitude (keep in mind this is his favortie word and will use it wherever possible) and he said she's funny. So I'm very grateful they love each other and that Sam is already wanting to be helpful!

Some Recent Photos
Here are some recent photos. I had Jen's girls over last week. So I took some of Paige and Hannah. Can't remember where the two older ones were (don't worry...I knew at the time).
Loyal race fans sitting out in the HOT weather (John, Jaynee, Dianne, Helen and the kids)
Sam had his first soccer practice last night. They got jerseys but apparently Sam didn't care if he wore his. He was still confused when we left as to why he was there. He is looking forward to going again.

Little fan with pink cheeks, it was so hot! She tried to run on the field a couple of times.

Happy Birthday Hannah
All night Hannah was either feeling proud or shy and wanted Dad to hold her..she couldn't decide
She was trying to play peek-a-boo with her balloons...a Dora balloon of course.
My mom got Hannah her own little Dora cake.

Thought I Should Update
We've been pretty busy around here and I had quite a few pictures I could have posted with all the fun things going on. Then I dropped my new camera Dan got me for Christmas and I broke it. I'll try and paint some mental pictures. The weekend before this past, we had my brother-n-law John's wedding. It was a fun weekend and Sam and Dan were both in the wedding and looked VERY handsome in their tuxes. Friday night was the rehearsal dinner and on Saturday they had pictures at a park and the wedding was at our church and the reception at Pebble Creek. It brought back a lot of fun memories from our wedding day! The weather was perfect too. Poor Dan was sick all weekend though. He made it until about 9:00 which is longer than I thought he would. Then last week the kids and I went to church each morning for a music camp. Hannah went to the Nursery, I worked in the art room and Sam would get to rotate each morning to 4 different rooms, one of them where they would learn 4 songs to be performed at the end of the week for the parents. Sam was front in center of 65 kids and couldn't have been in a worse spot. He looked so bored and would turn around and talk to the other kids or hang his head and arms down in front of him like he just couldn't stand this standing up anymore. He did sing and do the motions half the time but then he would have this "Please, I have better things to be doing" attitude. Good thing he's just 4. Some of my family was there watching, Dan was able to come too, and we got a kick out of it. He did really like going to the camp and he loves to sing. Hannah had fun in her room too. Then on Saturday we took them to the parade in town. Becker had their 4th of July celebration already. Sam would run out to get candy that was thrown and Hannah would go pick up all the dirty garbage. Sam wanted his picture taken with a clown on a small bike and also with the old cars at the car show. Sunday they went to Wisconsin with Dan and his family for Dan's race. I had to stay back for a meeting and baby shower. My mom watched the girls this morning and so she brought them over and Mary came over with Philip. We wanted to get a picture of all the kids sitting on the front porch together...sure would have been a cute one if my camera was working. Just picture my kids all dirty because they can't stay out of the dirt, Philip all sweet and cute sitting there like a good boy, Paigey all cute in her pink skirt and Olivia all pretty in her blue dress with matching headband and bright pink lipstick she put on herself. Anyway, there you go. Hope everyone's having a good summer!

Big Day for Hannah
Although she tried at Grandma Dianne's the other night...Hannah used her little toddler toilet for the first time tonight. I was getting the bath ready and she was taking her diaper off and I asked her if she wanted to go, not really expecting a response and she got all excited and started yelling "Potty" and jumping up and down. So I got out the little toilet, she sat on it and went. I was very surprised. Sam had to jump out of the tub to come see. I did not potty train Sam until he was 3 so I was not planning to train her this early, but if she wants to go, I'm not going to stop her. Poor girl's got a fat lip and skinned up nose too. She fell running down a friends driveway tonight. And then a little while later Sam ran into her with his bike and knocked her to her knees, skinning those. Rough day too.

Finally coming in
Hannah's hair is getting longer and curly! I wanted to get a couple pictures, I'm not sure they're showing up real well. She's crabby in the first picture because I won't hold her...big surprise. In the second picture I had to sing the Dora theme song to make her happy. She loves Dora. Works every time.
